Gardens by the Bay is a flowery & greener representation of the Singapore government’s thought to make Singapore ‘a city in garden’ from ‘Garden city’. It is a project by the National Parks Board aimed to raise quality of life with lush greenery and flora. ‘Gardens by the Bay’ looks spectacular with the beautiful arrangement of futuristic ‘tree’ structures and natural plants & trees. Located in Singapore’s new downtown at Marina Bay, it is the largest horticultural oasis one can ever visit.

There are 3 waterfront spaces: Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central in the garden, all of which are perfect to spend a lovely day with friends, family, & kids. The immense variety of plants are placed in the huge domed conservatories that makes perfect sight for canopy walks with the loved ones.
Gardens by the Bay has a theme based on edutainment programme, in which the purpose is to make the public know about the world of the plants. With the efforts to build the relationship between the ‘Plants and People’ and ‘Plants and Planet’, the garden has different sets of horticultural themes.
The theme ‘Plants and People’ is epitomized with Heritage Garden where focus is upon the different cultural groups in Singapore. The relation is built by denoting how the plants play a crucial role in their culture & country's colonial history. And yes, the theme even expresses the economical relation of plants with Singapore and South East Asia.
In ‘Plants and Planet’ theme, the widespread biodiversity of plant life on the planet is showcased. The creative & innovative depiction of different plants within the fragile forest setting looks impressive.
